Afro Puffs are a quick, easy hairstyle created by using a knee high sock or a "hair-safe" elastic band. "Hair-safe" bands do not have a metal enclosure. This ensures that the hair is protected from being snagged. Examples of "hair-safe" hair bands are Goody headbands which can be purchased at CVS or Walgreens.
