I'm sharing with you guys now another hairstyle i saw on my fave hair blogs. I've been wanting to do this for a long time. And finally i was able to do it.
This is what they call the "RIBBON BRAID" or the "SHOELACE BRAID".
This hairstyle is super easy to do. All you have to do is part the hair into two. Then you make either a dutch or french braid on each side.
After making the braids, you get some colorful ribbons of your choice, put them in some crafting needles or, like i did, i used the topsy tail tool as my needle and you kinda sew the ribbon on the braids.
Use your imagination......it's like, how do you tie your shoelaces?? Then you will know how to sew them to the hair.
In the hair blogs i follow, they only sew the hair halfway through the braids and just let the tails of the braids hang the way they are. But here, i sew the ribbons all the way to the ends so it makes it look like a ponytail.
I made another version of this hairstyle but instead of a ponytail ending, i made it into pigtails or piggies.
